Bo Tai QuTab- An Experience in Thai Fine Dining
The concept of Thai cuisine in a contemporary setup with the golden touch of Massive Restaurants’ by the one and only Zorawar Kalra is something to experience at their latest venture near QuTab. As you walk in, the golden metallic interiors enthral you. Their selection of wine deserves special mention.
Bo Tai named after the traditional Bowtie (and their official logo) is an astute experiment in Thai fine dining with a touch of elegance which makes it special. They have an open area and a separate section for private gatherings along with the regular bar which specializes in fusion Asian cocktails, Full Moon Festival being my first choice amongst them. This unique concoction of Gin and Vermouth paired with the very unique Scallop Carpaccio is a true connoisseur’s pick.
Butterfly Prawns with Broccoli and Duck Sausages with Butternut Squash followed and trust me I was simply taken aback by the flavours of the squash. So much so that I specifically asked for another portion of it. My ultimate comfort food Lamb Massaman with Jasmine Rice formed the quintessential Mains and I just could not get enough of them. I was presented with the Barman’s Special Bo Tai Passion as my second and final drink before I set out for my trip back to Bangalore.
Bo Tai has been open for a little over 3 months now and has already carved a niche amongst the food connoisseurs of Delhi and NCR. On your next visit to the capital, this is definitely one of the destinations you cannot afford to miss. I know I would not.
