Baba Da Dhaba-New Dine-in/ Takeout outlet alert

Baba Da Dhaba has already carved a niche for itself in the Takeout/order-in segment in CBD and Indiranagar. With the opening of their new Dine in/Takeout in Koramangala a few days ago, it has finally made its way into the busy streets of the corporate segment where home-cooked food is an affordable luxury due to hasty schedules and long commutes.

The special table witnessed influencers and food aficionados who were seen enjoying their photography and gastronomy bites in harmony. We started with the delectable Kebabs-Chicken Tikka, Malai Tikka and Bhatti Di Murgh. The Assorted Vegetable Tikkis and the Paneer Tikka made their way as well. It is however the Mutton Sheek Kebabs which make me weak on my knees and this time was no exception.

The Mains comprised of a traditional Dal Makhni, one of my personal favourites followed by Paneer Makhanwala served with Nan and Butter Roti. The Non Vegetarian Mains comprised of Chicken Lababdar and Mutton Rogan Josh, which I enjoyed with a genuine portion of Jeera Rice. Chicken Biryani followed next and I was quite satiated with the taste of the traditional home-cooked food, the prime USP of the brand.

Desserts arrived in the form of the sinful Black and White Chocolate Cake and Phirni, another weakness of mine. The authenticity to its taste and healthy home-style cooking is what makes BDB stand out and their entrance to Koramangala only marks their absolute arrival to an area where such food is in high demand.
