Viaggio Italiano @Tre Forni, Park Hyatt, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, the city of Pearls has a few more jewels added to its splendour and glorious heritage in the last few years. Park Hyatt has opened up almost half a decade ago right at its heart, and I was yet to experience their hospitality in its full pomp and grandeur. And boy, oh Boy I must say I am beyond impressed.

Park Hyatt, Hyderabad boasts of probably the best Fine Dining Italian Restaurant in the city- Tre Forni. From its plush interiors to its uber-modern ambience, the contemporary chandelier takes one’s breath away the moment you walk through its doors. With an open kitchen at its centre, there is also provision for outdoor seating. The illumination inside the restaurant creates an aura of flamboyance interspersed with the marvels of contemporary architecture blended right enough to render romantic appeal and tranquillity.

As I was seated with the very delightful Yashi from the Sales and Marketing team, I was presented with a personalized menu for the evening curated by Chef Daniele. We started with the Antipasti, Duck Carpaccio with Duck Liver Mousse and Shallot Mustard. Being a big fan of Fois Gras, and having kissing its memories away owing to the wonderful laws of our country, this was an absolute bliss to start with. The Tarapaca Cabernet Sauvignon paired perfectly well with the crunchiness of the Carpaccio.

For Primi, I had an Asparagus Tortollini with Parmesan Fondue and Truffle Foam. I have a weakness for Asparagus, so needless to mention this was a divine preparation for me and the subtle notes of the Truffle Foam added to the character of the dish.

The Secondi in the form of Roasted Rabbit with Seasonal Vegetables and Red Wine Jus was my first experience with Rabbit meat, and a very delightful one. The Red Wine jus worked wonders for the dish accentuating the subtle flavours of the meat.

It was the turn of Chef Danielle’s own version of the Tiramisu, another house favourite which formed my ultimate sweet ending. The night was still young and it was time for me to check out the adjacent Jazz bar. As I walked out with deep satisfaction and immense gratitude for the amazing hospitality from Chef and the team here, I highly recommend checking out Tre Forni for an elegant evening next time you are at the City of Nawabs.
