Silver Fox by Ramesh Dembla @ Bangalore Fashion Week, Winter Festive 15th Edition, 2016

Ramesh Dembla needs no introduction when it comes to cutting-edge high fashion. The new line Silver Fox, showcased at the Bangalore Fashion Week, Winter Festive as Day 1 Finale comprised of hues of Grey, Ash and Dark Silver accentuating sensuality and supreme domination over the ramp.

The show kick started with Bangalore’s favourite diva- Jackie Besterwich in a silver two-piece walking to a male version of Madonna’s Frozen rendered in true tenor style, a rare track. The combined effect –true ladyship meets the bold femme. Jackie can pull off a tough deal like this very smoothly and hats off to her.

The other models followed one after another in signature dresses in Grey and Dark Silver. The next highlight of the evening was Priyanka Diwan in a ravishing gown with a black swan feel to it. Her attitude on the ramp not only exuberates confidence, but tremendous affirmation in the true sensuality of the colours she draped herself with. Uber-chic and very NYC reminiscent.

The men wore designs in the same shade of silver and dark grey, but somehow did not do it for me. This is a shade custom-styled for the confident woman of today who does not fear to explore her sexuality and embrace it with ease. Men should stick to black.

The showstopper of the evening-Eli Avram, more popular for her Big Boss appearance than Bollywood wore a stunning gown in dark grey with silver designs and flaunted it to perfection. Ramesh Dembla in a black gala bandh formed the ultimate fashion statement of the evening. As the curtain fell on the first night of the BFW Winter Festive Day 1, we look forward to an interesting weekend of high fashion and innovative designs over the ramp.
